Dessange Review

As many of you know, I am a member of the review site Influenster.
Occasionally they send out complimentary products to review, and the ultimate perk is receiving a VoxBox. Most recently I received a VoxBox containing hair products from Dessange Paris.
I received the Oleo Miracle Replenishing shampoo, conditioner and oil. This was a great trio for me because I am quite hard on my hair. I have been lightening it for about 4 years and just recently quit that. I also dry my hair several times a week, throw it in a ponytail or bun everyday, and only get it cut about every 8 weeks. I am always skeptical to try hair care products that do not come from a salon, it's just my way of thinking, but I have been very pleased with the Dessange products overall.
Shampoo
It is not as thick as other shampoos I use, but it still cleans well and doesn't run off as I am applying. It doesn't leave my hair feeling heavy but it also isn't too stripping.
Conditioner
It has a nice consistency but isn't quite enough for my fine hair that tends to get knots. It does do well at replenishing lost moisture, it could be just a bit more detangling.
Oil
I like the feel of this product, and the idea of it. I like a third step that is a leave-in conditioner/moisturizer. This product has not disappointed me, but I am also not completely overwhelmed with excitement. I can't really tell if it does anything amazing for my hair, although it does feel and look softer overall.

The main thing that I have noticed is that I am losing less hair during my shower. Normally I pull many strands out with each run through of my fingers. I still end up with a few hairs lost, but not nearly as many. The Oleo line is also great whether I straighten my hair or leave it wavy. It makes both styles look great. The smell is very clean without being overwhelming. I will definitely use Dessange products again.

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
