This week is all about blogging, so it seems an appropriate time to jump back in!
1. What is the name of your blog? How long have you been blogging?
Forward From the Heart and I have been blogging since March 2012.
2. Why do you blog?
I started my blog as a spot that I could share information on Pilates, other forms of fitness, nutrition, running, tips on how to deal with anxiety and overall wellness. As a Pilates instructor/personal trainer I get asked questions all the time, so I thought that creating a blog where I could compile answers to my FAQ's would be fun.
3. What is the first blog you ever followed?
Hmmm...that is tough. I guess I should know this, but I don't. Although I was aware of the blogging world for a long time, it was Instagram that finally got me to actually sit and check out blogs, so I would guess that A Beautiful Mess or Sometimes Sweet were maybe the firsts since I follow those ladies on IG.
4. What is your favorite post you wrote in 2012?
Any of my Workout Wednesday posts featuring really great people that I admire and motivate me. I also worked really hard on my 10 Minute Workout Post and felt like, with that post, I really was taking on the feel of a fitness blog, which is my goal.
5. What are your blogging goals for 2013?
I would like to deepen my brand even more so that reader really feel at home on my blog. I would also like to increase my followers. I feel like a big loser because I only have 29 followers on Google Friend Connect. I see other blogs with hundreds and thousands of friends and I can't even break 30.
