Levi had a cold and was running a small fever on Saturday, so we didn't get to do everything we had planned, like visiting downtown Springfield and checking out little shops like Elle's, but it was still nice to be in a different city, stay in a hotel, and spend extra time together. The reason for our trip to Springfield was for JF to play in the Imagine benefit at the Gillioz Theater on Saturday. It is always fun to see him play, and extra special when the boys can go, too!
On the road. Levi likes to look out the window and Ezra reads.
Tacos at the mall!
He was scared of Hot Topic at first, but then started trying on hats :)
New DC's!
Cool moms buy big lollipops!
Forced them to go to Bath and Body Works.
Santa had a southern Missouri accent. Ezra does it perfect by recounting: "Y'all be good to your mama and daddy." Plusalso--E was a bit freaked out by Santa, saying that his hugs were too tight and his hand was on his rear. I think the magic may be coming to an end for this one. But L was ecstatic and in awe. He even asked if Santa knew Buddy the elf.
